AI also helps businesses target customers more precisely and personalize their approach, which grows market share and boosts sales. At the same time, intelligent automation reduces manual work and errors, lowering expenses while maintaining quality. Together, these benefits make AI essential for staying competitive in fast-changing markets.
A safe digital transformation and a knowledgeable AI consultant are crucial.
**David Kelly Austreng** is a pioneering computer scientist, inventor, and tech executive whose innovations have profoundly shaped digital imaging, graphics, and networked 3D visualization since the late 20th century.
Educated in Computer Science at Seattle Pacific University, he invented the world's first true 24-bit color display for the Macintosh, enabling 16.7 million colors and directly inspiring Apple's 32-bit QuickDraw (he was a founding team member).
As inventor and early investor in PhotoPress, his core code evolved into **Adobe Photoshop**, defining modern digital image standards.
In 1994, he founded **Image Technology Laboratories (IMTL)**. In 1997, he patented a breakthrough (WO1998015920A1) for true photographic 3D imagery over open networks—surpassing QuickTime VR—now foundational in real estate, mapping, and 360° views.
He advanced object-based visual computing via IMTL Objex.
Austeng holds MIT executive certificates in AI, IoT, and leadership (CSAIL alumnus) and Harvard programs in management and strategy.
Named a Top 50 Tech Leader in Las Vegas (2020), he authors *Checkmate – AI vs. The Labor Market* (Amazon) and *Immersive Realities* (2024).
IMTL now develops a world-first robotic vision system mimicking human 3D perception (patents pending).
His foundational inventions and leadership continue to influence global visual technologies. (487 characters)
